• Jaime D The office staff and nurses are friendly and personable. It’s easy to get an appointment and wait times are quick. Dr. Cockrum and Dr Richardson are awesome! My kids don’t dread the doctors visits. Everyone there seems to love working with kids.

• Carolyn D Dr. Richardson saw my son, Henry, for a same day sick appointment. The receptionists, Amy, helped us over the phone with scheduling and Hannah, with check in and financials. His nurse, Hayley, was timely with getting him checked in and tested. And lastly, Dr. Richardson performed a thorough exam and sent prescriptions and orders promptly for his Chest XR. After the appointment, we were able to communicate easily and receive results in his patient portal. Thanks to WAPS for caring for my big kid!

• Tamara S I had a well child check for my two children today, ages 12 and 10. I was not expecting a good experience based on previous visits to this office; but today was an incredible visit from start to finish for both my children and I. Dr. Licata was a breath of fresh air--he was upbeat & positive and interactive with my kids and I the entire time. I was impressed with his caring and thoughtful care for my kids, but also for our family. The nurse,Cheyenne, was also a beam of sunshine and incredibly receptive to all questions and concerns that I had. This is exactly the kind of care I want for my children, and I highly recommend them for pediatric care.

• Myramae W We recently took our child to West Alabama Pediatrics for a well-check and were impressed with the entire experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the office had a comfortable and kid-friendly atmosphere.Dr. Licata was fantastic! They were patient and kind with our child, taking the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly.

• Britt We love West Alabama pediatrics, especially Dr. Richardson! She is always so kind, quick to answer any questions we may have, and always so patient towards our children, I could not have picked a better doctor’s office. Whenever someone asks what pediatrician I recommend I always say West Alabama pediatrics, They truly are the best!

• Codie W I hit traffic and was running very late for my appointment. They worked with me and waited for me to arrive and offered to assist me cleaning out my car after my 2 kids got car sick. Very friendly staff and so polite even though we were having a very hard time.

There isn’t a single employee in the office that doesn’t want to be there, and the genuine love and care and understanding for patients is so admirable. We are happy to have a pediatrician office that gives such good care, organization, responsiveness, and depth of knowledge caring for our children from birth to 18.
